Production answer · backups
What should be backed up?
Keep the authoritative source records outside the studio, export digest-sealed project checkpoints, and retain the passive proof and printer packet used for each real review or production event.
Why this matters
A checkpoint restores editable state; passive artifacts preserve what a reviewer or printer actually received.
A reviewable sequence
- Name files with a meaningful human review label.
- Store more than one copy in an approved location.
- Test restore before relying on the backup.
- Record final production settings outside the browser project.
