Which label should be used for a test print?
Choose the longest realistic title, identity line, body, and credit on the smallest assigned template, plus any case key with the most entries. Print at 100% without fit-to-page scaling.
Why this matters
A representative test is more useful than a short sample because it exposes overflow, hierarchy, line length, trimming, and association problems.
A reviewable sequence
- Measure the final cut rectangle.
- Inspect text and rules after trimming.
- Review from the intended distance and angle.
- Record the printer, driver, stock, and settings outside the app.
