Production answer · label hierarchy
What should a label hierarchy review examine?
Review whether number, title, maker or identity line, material, body, and credit remain visually distinct at the intended use. The studio keeps those fields separate and renders a consistent hierarchy.
Why this matters
Consistency lets reviewers notice exceptions. It also makes it easier to compare a compact identity label with a longer interpretive label without rebuilding every card.
A reviewable sequence
- Confirm the first line visitors need to orient themselves.
- Inspect title and identity contrast at actual size.
- Check line breaks on the longest title and credit.
- Test the hierarchy with people who did not build the exhibit.
