How can a team keep material or medium lines consistent?
The studio keeps material as a separate field, exposes blank values, and exports the full batch to CSV for human review. Consistency still depends on the organization’s approved vocabulary.
Why this matters
A dedicated field prevents material text from being lost inside the interpretive body and helps reviewers scan the batch.
A reviewable sequence
- Use a reviewed local style or catalog vocabulary.
- Check punctuation and ordering across the exported CSV.
- Do not add hazardous-material or conservation claims without qualified review.
- Freeze a new edition after a batch correction.
